Julie Rodrigue is a bilingual (English-French) registered Speech-Language Pathologist. Originally from Quebec City, she completed her Master of Health Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Ottawa and her baccalaureate of Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Language and Linguistics at Carleton University. In order to keep her professional skills up to date with current clinical evidence and to specialize, Julie continues to pursue ongoing educational opportunities. She is a Lidcombe Program and Lidcombe Program for School-Age Children certified clinician, and has earned a provisional Certification with Professional Interest in Fluency from the Speech-Language & Audiology Canada organization (SAC).
Julie’s personal experience with fluency disorders have provided her with a devoted passion for the assessment and treatment of stuttering and cluttering in clients of all ages. She is also interested in working with clients who present with motor speech and/or speech-sound disorders, as well as with clients who require Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) services.
Julie’s creative and personalized approach as well as her passion for providing each client with functional, evidence-based and high-quality services catered to their needs make her a devoted clinician.
