Jaclyn, originally from Montreal, Quebec, graduated with her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders – Speech Language Pathology from Syracuse University in New York State in 2011.
Jaclyn is an experienced pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist having provided individual and group therapy in private practices in Ottawa, Ontario as well as Washington, D.C., Bethesda, Maryland, and Germantown, Maryland. Jaclyn has experience assessing and treating clients with various communication disorders, including but not limited to: fluency disorders, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, language disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Jaclyn is a member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), she is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holder.
As a mother to two young children herself, Jaclyn understands what it takes to succeed with speech and language goals both in and outside of a clinical setting. Jaclyn loves helping children learn how to communicate their wants and needs and as a clinical educator is gratified to be able to instill that same passion in her students.
